Hey guys I read in some other threats that people where mentioning this team as a powerful late game strategy. I wanted to build it myself.

I will give this team combination for reference

Beast - Mutate 666 - 4 Dice
Mr. Fantastic - Brilliant Scientist - 3 Dice
Punisher - McRook - 3 Dice
Loki - Gem Keeper - 2 Dice
Storm - Wind Rider - 2 Dice
Nova - Buckethead - 2 Dice
Professor X - CFX - 2 Dice
Colossus - Piotr Rasputin - 2 Dice

I think this is a suboptimal build so I want more opinions from other players. What do you guys think?

Thanks for your help

I heard something similiar to that beat my build so it must be pretty stellar. It has late game control + all the pieces neccessary to beat gobby/tsarina decks. Very nice.

Tonight I'll ask my friend to play this deck against mine. I use the following list (currently never lost, but we are all rookies).

[ ACTIONS / GLOBALS ]
Invulnerability
Distraction

[ MAIN ]
4x Beast - Mutate #666
4x Green Goblin - "Gobby"
4x Human Torch - Johnny Storm
4x Storm - Wind-Rider

[ GLOBALS ]
1x Mr. Fantastic - Brilliant Scientist
1x Phoenix - Redd
1x Silver Surfer - Sentinel
1x Magneto - Holocaust Survivor

If anyone has suggestions, those would be much appreciated.

why fantastic and phoenix? they got the same global
would drop one of them, and maybe a die on one of your mains and get a gemkeeper to lock down a key caracter

I feel safer being able to force attack more consistently (whether with bolt or mask). When I switch to "plan B" (if/when opponent reacts to Gobby I start using him for bolt resources) I have plenty of bolts, that's why I also put Invulnerability buff (typically the global I use for the last winning strike buffing 3-4A on an unblocked).

As for Gemkeeper, I do not own him lol

yeah ok, understand why u take pheonix too, but on the other hand u give up on another piece of control. but i think thats with everything in this game... i will probably just go with fantastic or pehonix, will try to have the same amount of characters using masks and bolts

I would remove 1 die from Mr. Fantastic and add 1 to Storm.

Have you considered using Prof X: Principal? You already have options to control characters, maybe you could hurt your opponent in another way.
