Just wanted to clarify a point of confusion.

Say, in a 4 player game, can the next player's turn snatch immediately or does everyone need to play their cards before a snatch can be determined?

Rules imply that all players need to play their hand before a snatch can be determined.

Ex:

Player 1: Plays Two sevens
Player 2: Plays Two tens
Player 3: Plays Three fours
Player 4: Plays Two twelves

Does the 2nd player get to snatch player 1 at the time he/she plays their cards? Or does it all go to Player 4 to snatch?

Thanks!

Everything happens immediately. In fact, there aren't rounds in the game, just turns. So Player 2 abluxxes the sevens and Player 4 abluxxes the tens.

In the official rules, here is the confusion (specifically in BOLD):

Quote:
If the player already has cards in their stack, new cards are laid on top, overlapping the ones already lying on the table. Neither the number of cards nor their value needs to match the cards already in the stack (see example 1b).

Once the cards have been played, compare them with the top cards of the other players, moving from one player‘s stack to the next. Check to see if anybody‘s cards can be snatched (see below). If they can‘t, their turn is over.

Seems to imply that all cards must be played before an Abluxxen can be called.

For it to happen immediately makes more sense to me.

OK, one more question...

Rules state:
Quote:
After snatching cards from the player to their left, the current player checks the stacks of the other players, one after the other in a clockwise direction, to see if they can also snatch their cards. (It’s possible to snatch cards from multiple players in a single turn, but a player may not be robbed multiple times on a single turn). Once the current player has finished snatching cards, their turn is over and the next player begins their turn.

If snatches are immediate, how could it be possible to snatch cards from multiple players? The only situation I can think of is when two other players have the same cards in play... i.e., two player has a pair of fours in play.
