Very nice! Dumb question, but enough room for sleeved cards? cool

I have all cards sleeved (admittedly Penny sleeves) In the Dark City box. Heroes on one side, all others on the other, separated into sections by foam half blocks. Means plenty of room.

Mr. Brenzor,

That whole muck up with that plane must have been hair-raising, force Upperdeck to Skype all PR events!

Okay, back to the inquisition... Will the dividers from this set be that same as the ones from the other base game?

I actually have grown to have a certain fondness for the plastic insert. I love how the board has a little groove so it doesn't slide about.

But this is certainly a lot more practical and the mat looks like it's going to be amazing!

I just need to find out when I'll be able to get hold of a copy in the UK. Hopefully not too long after US release.

A rolled mat instead of a folded board? Cool!
But it will obviously have to remain rolled to fit in the box right?

Correct, that's why we made a special sleeve for it. IF you're concerned that it will not lay flat if stored like that, don't sweat it. Rubber play mats are the best thing ever and don't lose their flexibility.

We have the rubber mat for Legendary and it is indeed, awesome. It's about the same size and similar material to a MTG play mat.

Ok-great! I just wanted to make sure I wouldn't have to make an all new storage tube like I did for Cube Quest. Creases in that board were common and affected gameplay. However they were nice enough to send me a replacement mat. It should make the box lighter too.

Off topic- it's cross compatible with legendary correct? Granted if I use magneto as a 'hero' mixed in with my x-men team then we can't use legendary's magneto as a mastermind right? (:

I'm trying to compare the size of this vs. the size of Dark City box. Is it wider to accomodate the mat?

I like that the board has changed because legendary the base game board is sturdy and if placed on a flat surface okay but scratches can happen and it is more likely to be damaged mine hasn't though . Regardless of the dimensions of the mat i believe it should be about the same as the base board and it clearly stores easily.
