I'm on the injured reserve list this weekend. Rather than a TV marathon I'm thinking I could solo a game or two.

So look through my collection... what should I play?

Were I you, I would play lots of The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game and play through a series or two of Agricola.

I guess I can help this along a bit...

Games I know that are solo-able:

Agricola
Castle Panic
Forbidden Island
Forbidden Desert
Pandemic
The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game
Mice and Mystics
Rallyman

Can Battlestar Galactica: The Board Game be played solo?
Or anyone know a good Heroscape Master Set: Rise of the Valkyrie solo campaign?

Thanks Matt! I like the idea of playing a few LotR scenarios through.

BSG has an official solo variant, I think it's in the rule book. If not it is in the files on the game entry in the database.

Obviously it's nothing like playing with a full compliment of players but if you are a BSG fan it can be a good time trying to beat the game.

Thanks Jason. So I wasn't crazy thinking I'd seen something about 1-player bsg. Rules are actually on the Battlestar Galactica: Official Variant Rules page.

I'm on that same list this weekend.

If you don't mind soloing the story then I recommend Mice and Mystics. Or Forbidden Desert.

Get well soon!

Pandemic solo advice - Play two roles and play at a high difficulty.
Also, I have played Scrabble solo many times as an exercise to increase my skill at the game, just trying to maximize points.
