Anybody have one?
I think we want one of the fancy fold-out-of-the-way types.

We have a small SUV with a lift hatch.

Would love to hear opinions of the one(s) that you own.

I had (technically still have too) a 2 bike hitch mounted rack with a tilt feature. Drove with it over 6 hours on a interstate trip and had absolute no issues in either city traffic or highway. It would wobble a little side to side (and I suspect a 4 bike version would be slightly worse). But overall, it was solid and everything worked great. It had/has a tilt feature that allowed us to lower the bikes so that the tailgate could be opened on the SUV. that was nice since we needed to get stuff from the back and didn't want to unload bikes and detach the rack. I think you'd find a hitch mounted bike rank to work well.

The only reason i say "had" is that our current vehicles don't have a hitch , so the rack is currently (and sadly) unused.

edit: typos

I've got one for my wife's minivan. It works, but it's a bear to load and unload 4 bikes. Make sure you get a 2" receiver on your hitch.
