Got this game for only 15$ back at the Filosofia/Zman warehouse sales. It is still unopened. Based on the fact that I mostly play 2 players, should I give this game a try or trade it away?

If you are used to games designed for more players which have later been retroactively fitted to work with 2 players, and if you like many of those, then yes, this works well.

If games retrofitted for 2 players bother you, or you hate them, or if you merely tolerate them, then take a pass on this one.

I've never seen anyone use so many words for "no"

I think he means the game works except the game experience is different than with more player count. Is that correct?

Do what you can, with what you've got, where you are.

He said maybe.

I will say no, because when I say maybe I mean yes.

I read all the rules. The game itself looks interesting but the two player game, with less turns in total, seems more at the mercy of the random placement of the tower (24 turns instead of 30+). Plus it removes all negotiation/auction escalation. I don't think I will be keeping this one.
