Since one of us didn't play legend 3 yet we took off to find the dark mage. The dwarf had to defeat 2 gors on his own before field F, the archer had to defeat a wardrak on 57, the warrior was asked to bring a farmer to field 67 and the wizard had to defeat a gor in the far wood and cleared it from all other monsters. The farmer task wasn't welcome, but did we have any choice? There were quite some monsters blocking the way to field 67, so we decided to temporarily park the farmer on the field directly above 28. The dwarf and the archer lined up together to deal with the gors close to the castle. The wizard and the warrior were exploring the fog tiles. The runestones were well placed, so we could arrange a black die for the dwarf soon. Since we also gave him all gold, in no-time he had 11 strength plus the black die, sufficient to defeat the 2 gors we needed. Luckily one of the monster tiles gave us an additional herb, while another one provided us with 2 additional gold to pick up. All went quite smoothly until we were a bit risky. We calculated that we still have 2 days to defeat the wardrak and the gor in the wood (the famer was already led away), but a stupid fog tile search action revealed an additional gor in the wood. And he wouldn't disappear on his own in time! So to be able to stand a chance we also needed to defeat him. We still didn't know anything about our last opponent, but we had no choice. All of us speeded to the wood to defeat the last 2 gors and the wardrak, leaving us with loads of gold on field 57, but with 2 herbs, a half potion, without any time left (only the wizard had 2 free hours left) and the story teller on field M :-(

Then we saw our opponent. It was the enchanted gor and he was completely at the other side of the game board. We thought we will never make it anymore until we thought of the wineskins. We never needed to buy them before and thought they were quite useless, but now they were great, since we only needed the wizard to go there (who was only strength 2). The wizard bought 3 of them to move to the other trader. We left 2 gold with the archer, who could spend some will power to use an hour to buy a falcon and pickup the 2 herbs and the potion. The wizard once again bought 3 wineskins and went to the field of the gor, dropped his remaining wineskins and waited for the archer to send the herbs and potion by falcon. With help of a sufficient roll the wizard succeeded in defeating the enchanted gor in once. And so we won an almost lost game in the ultimate hours of the day, and we learned that wineskins are not that useless as we thought :-)
