This is my second attempt at actually painting miniatures - my first one were the walkers from zombicide (http://i.imgur.com/ZF7EhZb.jpg). I initially wanted to finish up zombicide first but we then decided to play Last Night On Earth this coming saturday so I quickly churned these out for the occasion.

The most interesting thing were the bases - I haven't done any changes to bases before so it was exciting to try and glue something to a model. Apart from that is was pretty similar to the guys from zombicide. I really enjoyed these models and feel that the hair is a lot more interesting on those than on the zombicide models which was a nice playground (I tried to finish the brown hair with a light gold dry brush, with came out really well in person).

My biggest mistake probably was my working order:

1.) Priming
2.) Painting
3.) Dry brushing
4.) Shading
5.) Matte Spray
6.) Doing the bases
7.) Blood
8.) Bases
9.) Matte Spray

I really feel that the second round of matte spray killed some of the colors (especially the yellow has more or less faded away into an almost white-ish look) - next time I'll do the bases before I do my first matte sealing to keep them secure.

Apart from that I'm pretty happy with how resilient the grass is - I can toss them around without any of the grass coming off.

Here's the full album: http://imgur.com/a/5fN9z (Still experimenting with getting good and interesting photos of my work)
