Ok so the rules have 2 types of decks it offers. me and my brother just got the game and played with the apprentice books. we found it pretty easy.the game says to play a few games with it before using the starter deck. I was thinking about just going straight to it for our next game. what do you guys think?

If you felt comfortable with apprentice books, then go for it!

When I introduce people to the game, I usually skip the apprentice books. If you feel ready, go ahead and play with the full rules

The apprentice books remove a lot of what makes the game cool, so I wouldn't linger there long. They're useful for a game or two when you're teaching yourself, but if I'm teaching someone, I'll go straight to full game.

Just crack on with starting books.

You will be designing your own books in no time.
