Okay we played an amazingly fun game of Firefly with all expansions last night and had some rules questions pop up.

1. When attacking a leader with no morals what does that make the
Piracy job? Is it just nothing when it comes to morality?

2. Does your crew need to get paid from piracy jobs? We weren't
Sure because most of these jobs weren't paying much at all as
Far as credits are concerned.

3. On a Nav card it had the option of paying 1 fuel getting 200
Credits and removing all disgruntle tokens full stop or all
moral crew become disgruntle keep flying. Player was where he
Wanted to be so he stopped but didn't have the fuel to pay for
Option one. Player argued that he couldn't do option one and
Would have to disgruntled all moral crew. We rolled a die on
This one. Ended up just letting him stop.

Thanks in advance for quick replies. I think that was all we came across but I might remember more later. Keep Flying!

Since the target leader is not moral, the piracy attack is not immoral.

It is a job, so the crew would expect to be paid.

If he did not have the fuel, his moral crew would become disgruntled. You have to pick one option on the card and meet all of the conditions.

Unless the morality of the job was "subjective" this isn't an issue, it is what it is. If the captain of the raided ship is "moral" the job is "immoral" if he has not state morality then the job is "moral" (or unstated, morelike)

Piracy is a job. It has a payout. When you complete the job you get paid in cash. If you get paid your crew gets paid on jobs. Being able to pay your crew is a consideration in taking ANY job.

If you cannot fulfill the requirements of a particular action you cannot take that action. A "keep flying" result means he has the OPTION to keep moving, not an obligation to.

the piracy jobs don't pay much cash up front, the real payout comes from selling the stolen cargo/contraband. however, crew must still be paid when the job is completed, so make sure you have enough cash on hand before completing the job.

How much differs the game with all expansions from the base game?

What keeps me from buying this game ist the low player interaction and that players taking the lead on victory conditions are hard to stop.

There is as much or as little player interaction as you want. You can play with or w/o the piracy cards, allow bounty jumping or not, and on the positive side there's no rules against renting cards to other players, buying cards/cargo from each other, picking cards up for other players (for a price, of course), trading crew, etc. etc.
