After more than 10 solo plays (until November 1941) and 5 plays between GeeKenny and myself, we decided to post a game with the chrome expansion. Lets see what the outcome will be.

This is the historical begin setup:

The Germans decided to bomb (with there Lufwaffe Supremacy) the major stacks which were present in Slutzk and Minsk in the North and larger stacks at Kiev Military sites including 2 bunkers of the Stalin line. A fighter was escorting a tank which would advance to the south and then across the river bank. Two larger (6/5 steps) infantry in the north were put in reserve so they could fill up any unexpected gaps. The tanks in the north were paired with artillery to make sure that the blitz attack would puncture the second line of defence. In the centre infantry cores would cut supply lines.
In the north 3 tanks would exploit and in the south 4. This would make a line so the Germans would not be cut off would the Soviets try a counter move. Minsk, Riga and Lvov were taken during the first round.

The Soviets just closed the lines and tried to keep as many units in supply as possible. They decided to leave 1 clear area open after the first line of defence to prevent the Germans for using there successful blitz attacks in the next turn. As Stalin was frozen no further actions were possible for him.

Raoul, how did you take Minsk and Riga in the first turn? There are 0-step units in those cities, so you can't clear them out by air attacks.

I have to admit that we have removed all units including the 0-step units by excessive hits in Minsk, good catch Filip. In this fight, it would be more problematic for the Germans to remain in Minsk.
In Riga we did retreat.
