I was just thinking about the new Mythic ice called Mother Goddess. It reads:

(Neutral,Cost:4, Strength:4) : ICE, mythic
Mother Goddess gains the subtypes of all other rezzed ice.
End the run.

If you put one of these on a remote early and the runner encounters it with no other ice yet rezzed, what breaks it? Right now, since I haven't seen any spoilers for "mythic" icebreakers, is it just AI programs that can break Mother Goddess until another subtype of ice is rezzed, or am I forgetting something obvious?

No, nothing can break Mother Goddess if she's the only rezzed ICE other than AI breakers. However, she can be parasited down or bypassed with Femme.

You are correct that currently, only AI breakers can break ICE with the Mythic subtype.

Edgecase: Tinkering/paintbrush + normal breakers, or Kit can break it.

but yeah, mythic ice is a boon to AI breakers.

Note that Mother Goddess is unique, though - you can only have one rezzed at the same time.

Also the best thing about Mother Goddess is she works really well with NEXT ice!

it is a good ice to run in stronger together, since it gets the strength boost, and can't be broken by clicks, which means it is one of the best bioroid ice out there!

Does Mother Goddess get "Grail" subtype when in HQ? That is, could its subroutine be used when Lancelot is encountered?

No, as it is not active until it is rezzed.

Ooo, I just realized that if Kit runs a 2-ice server with Mother Goddess as the inner ice, then when Kit encounters the outer ice, Mother Goddess will gain Code Gate until the end of the run too. Also you can use that Tinkering/Paintbrush on ANY ice you want and it will affect Mother Goddess as well.
