I'm going to play for the 1st time tomorrow afternoon, and I'm concerned that most people seem to think that the Allied Powers have a huge advantage. Are we better off not using the Russian Revolution rules? It seems like it would give the Central Powers a better chance.

Personally I like the rule. I think the game is well balanced but the balance shifts from initially favoring the Central Poers to favoring the Allies. See my review.

Be sure to check out the FAQ. You may also want to consider using the designer's Tournament Rules, as they tend to speed up the game.
