Re: [DECK] Haas Bioroid Deck: Please Critique

No, it isn't.

Well, for starters, you posted the wrong deck

EDIT: Ok, now that your post makes sense, my first critique is that your economy looks dodgy. Janus 1.0, Wall of Thorns, Tracers, Snares and Ambushes with only 3x Hedge Fund + 2x MMC to fuel them is not likely to work out for you, even in a near-Core only setting.

Snowflake is also not a great piece of ICE; saving 2 creds by making your Wall of Static leaky is not a great deal. Runners will run into them and bid 0 just to drain your meager funds, or get free accesses.

I see what you're trying to do, but you'll need a lot of credits to pull it off, and I'm not sure Jinteki can scrape them together with just the economy options in Core + WLA.

Why are you playing Ghost Branch? Private security force, duh.
Celebrity gift would be good in this deck. If you want to buy opening moves.
3 Neural Emps

The problems of Jinteki Core or with just a few expansions is that your ice does not end the run and that you need event or asset economy, so you have to spend influence to importh both. If you have no stopping ICE and no way to rez stuff (like assets) that will let you recover from account siphoning, then a runner can just draw up, take time, siphon you and access your traps when you are poor and can't trigger them. That's a well known issue with Jinteki, and i think there is a consensus on it.
They tried to fix it with newly released cards and now jinteki is a fun and interesting corporation to play, but , sadly , it will require you to buy expansion. Honor and Profit at the very least.

Also, the Agenda mix for Jinteki is horrible without expansions.

What edits could I make for more economy? I hate spending influence on out of faction cards. Also, now that this isn't my haas deck (which is a different post, my bad (I exported the wrong deck ) what could make it better.

Don't try so hard to tag the Runner. You only have Private Security Force ou punish a tagged runner ; it's not enough to base your strategy on it. Just score your PSF and wait for the Runner to eat a Snare!, then finish him. With that in mind:

-2 Ghost Branch (+2inf)
-2 Data Raven (+4inf)
-2 Hunter

As was said, Janus and Wall of Thornes are too expensive and Snowflake is too leaky.

-1 Wall of Thorns
-2 Janus 1.0 (+6inf)
-3 Snowflake

Also, it should be noted that you have a very low risk of having your cards exposed by the runner. So unless you have some confidence that your opponent does play Infiltration or some other expose effect, you can remove Zaibatsu Loyalty as well.

To improve your economy, you have several options:
PAD Campaign (0inf)
Adonis Campaign (2inf)
Beanstalk Roayltis (1inf)
Shadow (1inf), which doubles as a tagging ice

To improve your security (ice), you have:
Ice Wall (1inf)
Enigma (0inf)
Rototurret (1inf), which can also trash programs
Wall of Static (0inf)

And to make runs expensive for the Runner:
Heimdall 1.0 (2inf)
Ichi 1.0 (2inf)
Caduceus (2inf)
Tollbooth (2inf)

Mixing and matching all this, here is an evolution:

Test

Jinteki: Personal Evolution (Core Set)

Upgrade (1)
1x Akitaro Watanabe (Core Set)

Man I can't type, that should be out of faction economy cards. And thank you so much for a better updated deck list. I will love to try that out.

I'm going to disagree with others on Snowflake, I suspect that many people have not used it. Snowflake is very efficient when the runner breaks it, and often they will since they've already sunken some cost into running the server. In general, the more that is at stake the more likely the runner is to break Snowflake, at which point it is a very cheap Wall of Static.

Running on Snowflake to tax the corp seems a little questionable considering that the runner is using clicks to do so. As soon as there is another piece of ICE in front of Snowflake, or the corp gets a strong bankroll, then this becomes a losing proposition.

Jinteki has a serious economy problem in the core set, so brushing off efficient ICE seems like a bad idea.
