There is a dark section on the Monaco track. It's 16 spaces long between LOEWS and CHICANE.

What is the game effect in the section. What's it's purpose? Is it just to add some colour to the board or is there something that happens there?

After reading the rules I think I may have missed something.

It's the tunnel on the Monaco route. It's there for flavor and has no game effect.

It's the tunnel:

It has no function in Formula D/De other than aesthetic.

Alright, thanks.

Because it's in a tunnel, would that section of track stay dry in wet weather?

You could house rule that if you like, but otherwise I think it would be wet because of the procession of cars tracking through there would cause it to be wet within a (real) lap or two.

Wouldn't matter either way, as sliding only happens on corner stops.
