I saw on the playthroughs that if you do not wish to take an action, you can skip your turn and earn one gold. I was wondering how difficult it would be to add an open space (like advancing quests or purchasing blueprints) on the board for anybody to take that earns you the gold. It would be one less rule that my wife would have to remember.

Trevor, yes, this is a great suggestion, and it is being addressed. In the final version of the board there will be another open action space for getting 1 gold.

I've only played the web app version, which phase can you skip for gold? Any of them, or just the market phase?

Or do you mean skipping an entire round?
