Rodney is a really good rules guy - among the best out there - but all he has to work off of are the same resources that we do, unless WK gives him early access to an updated FAQ or other such thing.
Honestly, I don't know that anyone can answer with any authority on some of the most contentious debates until WK gets more out there. Though folks giving rulings at OPs are trying, and I don't envy them because it's quite possible that they'll be wrong when the next round of FAQs come out.

I agree his videos are very good, but I think you misunderstand me. He had stated a while back that there was to be a FAQ video released. And it's not really the case that he has the same resources that we have - very frequently (if not exclusively at this point) he is in direct contact with designers and publishers as he produces his content. I'd like to think I'm cool enough to get WizKids to return my phone calls but it's just not going to happen.
Here's the link to the where Rodney mentioned the FAQ.
Now Jerry Hawthorne of Mice and Mystics / Plaid Hat fame is frequently on the rules forums for his games answering questions and interacting with the players of his games. It'd be nice if WizKids could manage even a fraction of that kind of involvement with their players. At the end of the day, perhaps even Rodney isn't hearing back from them.

Dave has it right, I have the same access the rest of you do.
At one point there, my schedule was a little lighter, and there was no FAQ, so I thought I might be doing something for them there, but now my plate is full, and I haven't received any extra info aside from the FAQ, which everyone has already.
