What a nice afternoon we had today. It was sunny, we had a swimming pool and we were playing boardgames. I hope paradise is almost like this. For a cool afternoon we decided to play 2 nice cool games of Ra.
In game 1, Martin was the leader all game long. He had constant scoring in each round and scored the pharoahs each round with a small number of tiles. In round 3 Pierre had 7 Nile tiles but he wasn't able to win any flood tile and was able to score decent with 7 different buildings.
Pierre: 37 (Sun 13)
Nathalie: 37 (Sun 6)
Martin dominated round 1 with the most pharaohs and with 3 civilisations. He had a the best scoring at this time. There was only 1 civilisation tile in play for round 2. Martin again had the best scoring with 5 points in round 2 since the other players scored -2, -1 and 1 only. With a great lead Martin seemed on his way to victory but Pierre and Marc-André put high pressure on him. Pierre won his seventh different building tile and he also had 9 nile tiles and 1 flood to give him great scoring as Marc-André. The end of the game was very exciting when Martin was left alone, he made the difficult choice to let go a Sun 12 value and he was left with sun 1 value and the lowest score of Sun. He wasn't sure to win the game so he tried to win some more tiles. This was the turning point of the game. With 2 points difference between first place and third place. This was a great way to finish this great day.
