I purchased numerous wooden disks then peeled the cover off each counter (they actually peel off easily). then I glued these onto the wooden disks. So when the counter had 2 different sides I ended up with 2 wooden disks each having a label on 1 side. When the counter had the same on both sides I ended up with 1 wooden disk with a counter on each side.
I then painted the edge of the counter which greatly helps to identify the counter itself.
They look good stacked, piled or on the board. Took an evening and $20 of wooden disks.
That's really cool, I'm definitely gonna look for some appropriately-sized wooden disks. Not really a storage solution, but definitely a cool way to deal with the awkward two-sidedness!
It occurs to me that there are some tokens that are useful to have two-sided; Sleep > Daze for instance, since you turn dazed when woken up. There are probably others as well (Slam?)
