Thirty-One Super Organizing Tote http://www.thirtyonegifts.com/catalog/product/227/catid/22/s... seems to be pretty popular around here - the guys get them in plain black, navy, or green (from the Spirit collection). They are really sturdy and have lots of side pockets, so great for convention swag!

Can't you just drive a forklift around everywhere? Or, better yet, put wheels on your Expedit.

If you've an Aldi supermarket near you you can grab one of their totes for like $2. They're not quite as large as the biggest IKEA bag but they're still quite big and sturdy - plus they have a flat bottom.

I use one of these:

You can fit 3 big box games or 6 narrow games (like Carcassonne) easily. Lots of pockets to keep small bits and pencils and stuff from wandering.

Pete (bought one for his wife too, and she lugs a sewing machine and her sewing tools in it)

I bought a couple of them and they work really well. Only close to a year of heavy use have I started to notice wear and tear.

I've stopped putting mine in bags and now use Velcro straps to strap a pile together. They stay upright and everyone can see what you brought.

The key to a happy life -- carry less. If you bring 12 games everyone argues over what to play. Bring the one game you're interested in and you're all set.

If you're willing to spend a few stop by one of the sail makers close to the yacht clubs along the Hudson. They can make any shape you want in more or less any color you want out of indestructible material. They have leftovers from their custom cuts. Sailors have the best bags.

I would agree with that. 5 Ikea bags from ikea.com would cost me $18, $15 of that is shipping.

Can you link where you got this? I'm not sure what to call it to search for it.

Those seem nice but as a guy I can't carry one of those without turning in my heterosexual card.

Well I do see what you mean. $3 on the bags and $6 on shipping.
I live 20 miles from my nearest IKEA, so I went that route to get my bags. I am too lazy to drive there just to get some bags.

Edit: I do drive a gas consuming vehicle that clocks 22 miles per gallon on the freeway. So if you add in $8 for 2 gallon of gas going back and forth, you will see why I went with Amazon.

I use a clear Sterlite tote from walmart. Take the top off when I get there and it's easy for people to see what I brought since most games are sideways or upright in it. Someone else brings a big tarp-like bag which is wearing down and needs to be replaced soon. Another person bring a milk crate equivalent but slightly bigger.
