My favorite 18xx game for six players is two games of 1846 with three players each.

It's more like Charades where you give clues by putting markers on the board. It works remarkably well, actually.

The Dixit comp isn't very precise at all. There's no storytelling component in Concept, nor is there voting on the "best" tale. Additionally the "answers" in the game are not metaphorical and subjective; they are actual tangible things, not evocative imagery that elicits various responses.

As posted upthread, picture Charades is what it is. Almost like a rebus puzzle with less punnery (see the old school game/game show "Concentration").
