Because only one person rated it for number of players.

Rahdo's review is a good indication about how well it plays with two.

I wouldn't put too much trust in a poll of 1 person...

I've not played with 2 put it should work pretty well: The need to manipulate the discard pile will be a key feature of a two player game.

It may even end up being the favoured way of playing like Race For The Galaxy.

I have played 4 games, 3 of which were two players, and they were great. I like what they did with the player count on the cards. It allows for natural scaling of the game.

You would think that the 2 player would take less time to play, but I found myself thinking more about the other player than when I played 4. With 3 opponents, it was too variable for me to really plan ahead too far. (that is not a complaint, just a change in strategy).

I guess I need to go be a second vote on the poll...

Mike.

I have 8 plays in - all of them solo or 2 player, and it works just fine with 2. However, I'm planning on going to the FLGS and trying to get a 3 or more player game to start comparing.

Like others said, take all online information as loose guidelines.
