I'll chime in.

We've done single-quest-epic-play, but only as a tryout for new classes/heroes in the middle of a campaign.

Campaign play is definitely where Descent shines.

I think the choices should have been Quest Play (2 encounters) and Single Encounter. A quest is made up of 2 encounters after all.

There are many that are made of only 1 encounter.

Even though I have more campaign plays done than Game Night Kit games I can see that changing very soon.

You're right. I was figuring that since the rule book sorta defined quest as something made up of one or more encounters that it made sense to keep the naming consistent. I get pedantic sometimes, no offense intended.laugh
