Warped Tour! Yeah, I went to that in, like, 1999 or something as I am rapidly aging.

Blink 182 played. People threw things at them and they were terrible. It was pretty great.

As grey traces of dawn tinge the eastern sky, the three travellers, men of Willowdale, emerge from the forest's shadow. Fording the river, they turn south, journeying into the dark and forbidding lands of The Necromancer...

Except for one album cover featuring Janine Lindemulder, everything about Blink 182 is wretched.

I saw Blink 182 at Bumbershoot years ago. I knew nothing about them other than one or two radio hits I'd heard. Never have I had such a negative reaction to a singer's stage presence; the lead signer's chatter in between songs was so moronically stupid and egocentric at the same time that it made my skin crawl.

Sadly, nobody threw anything at them. If they had I would have enjoyed the show more.

I find it odd that somebody who has a scripture verse in their badge is claiming the only thing non-wretched that Blink-182 did was have a porn star on their album cover.

Looking at these stars suddenly dwarfed my own troubles and all the gravities of terrestrial life. I thought of their unfathomable distance, and the slow inevitable drift of their movements out of the unknown past into the unknown future. H.G. Wells

Yah. I went to one to see Caustic Soda, and they were great. And Face to Face played which is pretty much mandatory at that sort of thing.

I don't believe I was commenting positively on her career choices. I was pointing out that it is very likely that a lot of sales for that album were based upon the choice of cover artwork. It was "newsworthy" at the time of release. The music is certainly not to my liking.

Yeah, the crowd was primed to hate them in the first place because they had gone mainstream which is a big punk no-no. Then Mark Hoppus and Tom DeLonge started their chatter which amounted to pretty much "we're great and you all suck" and garbage started to fly. Then they played. I know people think punk rock acts are without musicality, but Less Than Jake and Dropkick Murphys had both played and they hit notes, played their instruments, and in the case of LtJ, harmonized.

Blink 182 can't play their instruments or sing and their stage presence is terrible.
