I suppose the 60 minutes is a small set-up. How long is a medium or a large set-up?

Are you talking about just setting up the maps or playing them?

People are reporting that Operation Neptune is taking them about 4+ hours.

My boys and I play a LOT of Memoir 44. We have been playing for years. It takes us over an hour to play a single D-Day map including setup and play. I would estimate at least 2 to 3 hours for a single map.

I am planning to play Utah+American Airborne with 4 tomorrow (all have played memoir before). Is 120 minutes (and some setup time first) realistic for the double map variant (no overtrough)? I chose this combination because the victory medal amount is the lowest (21 medals). Looking forward to trying this expansion.

Airboirfnbe took us 0,5 hour setup and 1,5 hours playtime.

My rule of thumb is memoir takes about 10 minutes per scenario victory point condition.
If a scenario end with 4 vp, it takes about 40 minutes.
Larger battles tend to go faster
