Hi guys,

I have a question regarding this "6 nimmt German 20th Anniversary Edition". I hope I am posting on the correct board here.

Question:
I understand this German 20th anniversary edition has 10 more special card.
0.0 to 0.9
On the boardgamegeek explanation, it says we put these card next to the normal cards.
I don't really get how these cards make any difference in the ordinary game play.

Can someone please explain how it changes the game?

For example, to my understanding, if i put a 0.9 card next to a #10 card, it becomes 10.9.
So if my friend opened a #11 card, it would be placed next to the #10 card anyway, since #11 is bigger than #10 or #10.9 anyway. So how did my 0.9 card affects the game?

It just seems like a "pass" card where I don't have to place a card and have the chance of losing and collect the row.

Please enlighten me guys!

Thanks! =]

That's weird. This bit used to mention Shire Games, and tell you all how wonderful we are. But it seems to have got deleted. Let's see what happens this time ....

Exactly what I thought at first.

But imagine the situation that the "10" card is the third card in the row.

Someone playing "11" would expect to be the 4th card and totally safe.

But now two other players play "0.4" and "0.7" into that row (making 10.4 and then 10.7)

Now the "11" card is the sixth card! Bad news ....
