So I was at the thrift store a picked up a bag of ten sided dice for seventy-five cents. All told, there are 39 dice in three different colors (split 15, 14, and 10). There were also some blank notecards and also some blank square pieces that looked like they were cut from the notecards.

Anyone have an idea of what these dice may have been used for. I searched the store for more dice, or role-playing stuff, ect., but found nothing. Most games that use 10-sided dice use other dice too, but these were the only dice I found. The only thing I can think of is a WOD player, but I didn't find any books or anything else that goes with that.

Any good ideas of what I could do with this many 10-sided dice? I only bought them because it was such a good deal and I figured I might one day find a use for them.

Are the faces 0-9, 1-10, or...?

D10's are, of course, good (if fair) for rolling percentages. Or WOD...shake

With three colors, you can choose among 1000 things.

You could use the dice to pick numbers for the lottery, keno, or roulette; and any illegal numbers that come up: obviously you were destined to make a contribution to your state government or local casino--am I being redundant? laugh

I would have guessed it was for someone designing a game.
