Hey everyone,

I found the following Talisman solo rules online:

http://talisman.clift.org/sam/rules/tsolo.htm

I'm intrigued, but for the life of me I can't figure out how the "INPC Attack Chart" is supposed to work. Can anyone explain?

I believe the value in the attack chart is the value you have to roll on a d6 to determine if the NPC attacks you. For example, if the NPC is Evil and you're good, roll a d6. On a 1-5 you're attacked. If the NPC is Good and you're Good, you're only attacked on a d6 roll of 1.

The Immobile Non-Player Character will only attack your character on the die roll shown.

So if you character is a good character, a good INPC you meet will only attack you on a roll of one, whereas an evil INPC will attack you on a roll of 1-5.

Thanks guys! I was forgetting that the NPC you were encountering also has an alignment, so the headings along the top of the chart were not making any sense to me.

On another note, has anyone ever tried these solo rules before? Anything to report?

You only need one hand to play the game - you can rub your fingers on selected items with the other hand... cool

Sadly that link no longer works.

Would someone who has those rules list them here?

Old thread I know, but did anyone ever try these rules? It seems more general ideas than a complete rule set...

Thanks in advance and have a great day!
