Instead of having one Wilds for both players, each has his own Wilds consisting of 2 Spells and 4 Creatures. That way, you won't have Bellatrix and Hermione fighting side by side in your Ready area. Choose these randomly, just as you would for normal Quarriors. You may only buy from your own Wilds.

When creating each Wilds, players take turns drawing from the top. Discard the card if it doesn't apply to your side -- the Gryffindor side would not take Voldemort, for example. Spells are a little trickier, since both sides uses some of the same spells. Your turn ends when you have discarded or filled a spot in your Wilds.

Use 4 dice for each card instead of the normal 5(I'm also considering 3 dice, but have yet to try it).

Lastly, the Basic dice remain the same, and BOTH players have access to them. Use 4 Portkey (Portal) dice, 2 Familiar (Assistant) dice, and 0 Magic (Quiddity) dice.

Try it out! It's given some new life to Quarriors around here, especially with the pre-game of setting up the Wilds. We've tinkered with placing an unwanted card on the other player if drawn (Gryffindor draws Draco, sticks it in Slytherin's Wilds). Makes you work with what you're given -- a nice challenge.
