I can see how I can find local board game players but
I'm interested in finding local board game designers.
Does anyone know how I would do that?
Regards
Suhada

Thanks for your reply Brian.
The link was an interesting list but I couldn't see how to find game designers local to me?

Sometimes if you hover over the flag on a persons avatar it will give you the city and state/province, if that person included it in their bio. Then you can just geek mail them. I don't know if there is a list of where people live.

It might be easier to search for BGG users by location and see if they have a game designer badge.

Where do you live, Suhada?

You can start with this for the UK: http://boardgamegeek.com/users?country=United+Kingdom&state=...=

If you wanted to find designers in Cambridge (like me), you would use the UK link above and then add Cambridge as the city. Then just look for the designer badge.

I live in Bristol, UK.
Thanks David for the suggestion about how to find local designers.
It came up with just one - as it happened I just got a message from him.
I'm thinking perhaps next step is to go along to some game evenings and try to meet designers there.
