I'm thinking about making a dice/card game regarding politics. which card design would be better (still early stage prototypes).

The concept will be passing a bill in the US Senate. There will be 50+ cards for the members (didn't know if i should make 1 dem and 1 rep or make them flexible).

Option #1
Option #2

thoughts and feedback would be appriciated.

Depends on which piece of information is most important: the state or the party. Also, the state shapes are too variable to put things like the donkey in the middle of the card — you'll have to keep moving it around. I'd suggest something like this:

Thanks. My only fear is that if a state changes their senator that the card and game will show their age.

I like it.
