I would normally think that only having two rules questions would be a great achievement for me, but since there are only a few pages of rules, maybe it's not a sign that I'm improving.

In all seriousness, what a fun and innovative game! With movement, it says that a ZOC costs 2 MP to enter. I interpreted that to mean +2 MP on top of the original terrain cost (so 4MP for forest, etc.). Was that correct?

For marshes, do units have to begin adjacent to the marsh hex to move in, and then stop? Or do units just have to stop when entering the marsh, regardless of MP expended? If that's so, then how many MP to enter the marsh?

Thanks!

Chris

Terrain costs and zoc are NOT COMULATIVE.
It means that the maximum cost is 2 MP, including zoc and terrain effects.
pls. have a look at the movement example at page 4 of the rules.

Marshes
it cost 1 MP to enter a marsh hex, but you must stop there.
No need to start adjacent.
Worthington Publishing answer to me of june 20th 2014:
"1mp but you must stop"

There are only two movement costs in this game, one or two. Nothing will ever cost more than 2MPs.

Played my first game Friday. Good game.
