The WotC website product description and I think the box itself indicates that the new 2014 (5e) edition of the game allows for playing with the new KRE-O D&D figures. I saw a post on this forum that compares the last two editions (2014 & 2012) and the pictures seem to reveal that the board and the graphics (including size of the movement spaces) appear identical. If this is the case, what if anything is there in the 2014 edition that allows for use of the KRE-Os?

So far? Nothing other than the minifigs. Of you can stand a Lego or Megabloc minifig on a space... then a kre-o should too. In fact standard gaming minis should be viable.

Note, this is only for adventurers. Monsters and such are not going to fit except maybee in a chamber...

There is only one god and his name is Death. And there is only one thing we say to Death...

There's nothing in the most recent edition (2014) of the rules or on the box that says anything about using Kre-O figures. The game came with an advertising insert for a KRE-O Dungeons and Dragons playset, but that's it.
