Just so everyone knows, who is using the WizKids Event System to organize and score MDM tournaments, the System is not calculating points properly. It currently only awards points based on individual game wins, and not Match wins.

For example, if you play 3 rounds and the results were as such:

Round 1 - Win 2-0
Round 2 - Lose 1-2
Round 3 - Win 2-1

According to the new official Tournament Rules, you should have 6 points for the two MATCH wins. As it is, using the WES, you would actually be scoring 5 points because you won 5 INDIVIDUAL games.

To throw an even bigger wrench into the system, if you have an uneven number of players and each round has someone with a bye, the WES is giving those players ZERO points for that round, because it is calculating that round with no wins. As such, if you draw a bye, you can forget about winning the event.

Now all of this assumes that your store is using the internal scoring calculator in the WES. This can all be avoided by simply calculating the points by hand, but not all stores may want to do that and only rely on WES to do things correctly.

I've already emailed Inquiries@necaonline.com about this and hopefully they're already aware of it, but I just wanted to throw this out there in case anyone else runs into it.
