Anybody know somewhere you can get really well-made wooden dice? Hardwood, stained, varnished, maybe even inlaid or with painted pips? Maybe even crafted of multicolored, laminated wood? Possibly weighted so they roll as well as plastic dice?

Just wondered if there was a good dice resource out there with these kind of things in case someone wanted them.

Your question interested me... I spent a little time on the Web (supposed to be doing work...). The first link has some really classy looking dice. The second, not so classy...

The first did indeed have some fine looking dice. Their command of the English language isn't so impressive. "Dices"??? Uh, sure, and I have mices in my house and geeses in the pond down the street.

Very nice, thanks! Just the kind of thing I was looking for. The dices and box look to be made in India.

They've got dices without prices. If you happen to track down their pricing sheet, I'd be interested in knowing just how extravagent they are.

Seems to be many sets of 'wooden dice in a dice-shaped box' on eBay. Example:

Which seem similar to the dice in this box:

I confess I do wish they did something more creative with the dots.
