My apologies if this has already been discussed, but I looked on several posts and didn't see this specific issue clarified.
There has been a lot of discussion about the cards that have 2x on them. In another thread I had someone clarify that it meant taking the action an additional time instead of doing the action twice. I interpreted that to mean:
1- drop off an assistant at a location and take the action
2- then play the 2x card
3- pickup that same assistant and do the action again
First question: is that correct?
One move has 4 steps.
1 - move + pickup / drop off assistants
2 - encounter merchants
3 - do action
4 - encounter family members, governor, smuggler
If you play any of the 2x cards then you you repeat only step 3 a second time.
So correct is:
1 - 2 - 3 - play 2x card - 3 - 4.
Then we had a case during the last play where this happened:
1- drop an assistant off at the police station
2- send family member to the gem dealer and take the action
3- play the 2x gem dealer card
4- the family member does the action again
Second question: is that correct?
Yes - correct.
