Want to guarantee you get a copy of Patchistory with the North American Promos at Essen? Want to save a couple of Euro? Don't want to carry around any more cash than you need to? Place a pre-order on the StuntKite website.

Here's what you do-

Go to - http://www.stuntkitepublishing.com/catalog/browse_our_titles...

Select Patchistory Essen Pick-up and choose how many units you want.

During check out, you will have to put in a shipping address. Don't let that worry you.

In Step 3, select Pick Up at Show.

Complete your order with credit card or PayPal.

Print your order confirmation sheet. Bring that sheet to the Deinko booth (no booth number yet) and trade it in for a fresh copy of Patchistory + the NA Promo Tiles.

That's all there is to it!

- Important note - Your pre-order unit will be available to you until 12pm on Sunday of the show. After that, your order is forfeited and I will refund your payment when I get back from Europe. This is so we can move all the units we bring and not have to schlep any back.

Deadline for Pre-orders is September 26th.

Done!

Will you positively absolutely keep our preordered copy in reserve, if we are not there from the first day, eg. coming on Saturday?

Just making sure..

You mean except having Patton slapped on the cover instead of Rommel?

Great news Pre-order placed. Here's hoping the (admittedly few) reports of balance issues have been rendered non-existent in this second edition.

What about the promos? Any way we could secure a copy without preordering the base game? (I have the first edition from last year.)

Gergo,

Hi. The only way to get the North American promos is by direct purchase through the site or at a show. The promos are not for sale separately. Sorry.

Thanks for your reply!
Will they be given away as a promotional item in Essen?

The question was

Can one buy the promos without buying the game itself?

To be more specific: is there a(ny) way I could get these promos without buying a second copy of the game?

Eric, waht's the language dependance of the game ?
I'd like to buy it but after viewing some pics on BGG, I'm afraid some of my gamers will be in trouble to play with it ?

Each of the tiles has text on the Wonder/Hero side. If your group isn't great with English you probably want to wait for the Iello version.

When does one have to preorder the game at the latest in order to get a copy for Essen?
I'm still hesitating, so having a deadline would be fine. Thanks!

But if you don't pull the trigger on it, don't worry about it; we'll have plenty of units available at the show.

I bet you'll be sold out on Friday! Don't underestimate the demand...

(And remember that most Germans don't have/use credit cards. So the number of Essen pickup orders paid in advance will be no indication for the real demand.)
