I have been playing the single campaigns. Several times I have met all of the conditions, but it says that I failed to connect the tiles, even though they are connected. What am I doing wrong? Is there a particular way they have to touch? It is driving me crazy.

Thanks in advance for the help.

You are probably connecting to a tile that is connected to a tile. You need to place new tiles that touch the existing ones, not just the first tile in group, but a new tile that touches the back tile.

For example, Salt Lake City starts with 4 tiles, so I have to place tiles that touch each of those 4 tiles? Is that what you mean? I did not do that. Wow, I really stink at this game!

Don't beat yourself up, I think everyone has encounter the same problem when they first started to play the single campaign.

yep, I sat and tried to figure this out as well. At first, like you, I thought that as soon as I connected to one of the tiles, and since all the other tiles were connected to that tile, I should be good to go. Nope. You need to make sure you play a tile touching each of the scenario tiles. I believe it was Atlanta where I finally figured this out.

I know this is an old thread, but I just got this for Android and I can't believe they haven't bothered to put in any sort of fix in over a year! Either highlight the tiles that are not yet connected, or at least update the language or put in the help files what this means! I failed Salt Lake twice before coming here to find out what was wrong!
