I just realized that the ribbon colors printed on the boards aren't what I would expect - for instance, third place wins the blue ribbon rather than first place.

I was just wondering - are U.S. standard ribbon colors meaningless in Europe? I lived in Germany several years but can't remember seeing any award ribbons.

I actually came across that page as well. I didn't notice it addressing German colors, though. I did find out that Canada and the U.S. were different. I didn't realize that first place got red ribbons in Canada!

Interesting. Just something I've never thought about before.

In Germany it's
1) Gold/Yellow
2) Silver
3) White
4) Blue
5) Red
6) Green

seems every country make its own colour order...and Turfmaster also

Thanks, Hardy! Interesting. I didn't look at alternate boards to see if the TurfMaster award color scheme is consistent from one track to another.
