I've seen lists of the cards per set, but there are now 100s of them and it is tough for a new guy to keep track.

Is there any resource to find out how many spells from each set are new (i.e., not also in other sets)?

Just trying to figure out how much overlap there is between sets. Thanks!

You can find full cardlists of every set here: http://www.arcanewonders.com/resources-and-downloads

Honestly, looking there is your only solution, but it's really not that hard, I can give you the answer very quickly:

Spell Tome 1, and Spell Tome 2, are entirely reprinted subsets of the Core Set.

The other spell Tomes (Kumanjaro and Forged in Fire) are 100% unique.

The expansion sets with new mages (FvW, DvN) are about 95% and 98% unique respectively. The reprints in them are mostly cards you are desperate for more copies of anyway (Dispel, Dissolve, etc).
