Exactly what the the title says. Smaller box. A lot of game. Under $20. What are some d your suggestions? Also it would be cool if the game was 2-6 if possible but 2-5 is doable as well.

Are you looking for any specific player count? Any preference on theme?

Edit: haha, ya beat me to it

I edited it saying 2-5 or 2-6 if possible. Theming isn't too important.

Hmm, a few recommendations I have would be

Spyrium (it's a smallish box, not sure how small you need)
and
Space Hulk: Death Angel – The Card Game

Sail to India
I recommend Sail to India, which is a heavy for a card game (or a light board game), playable in 40 minutes. Its really quite good.

Yeah that box size should work. I just don't want anything gigantic. Something that's easier for me to transport and stuff. If it fits in a backpack it would be fine.

You beat me to the Space Hulk recommendation. Great game for replayability also. Probably the best "bang for the buck" is Forbidden Island. Kind of a Pandemic Jr. but really a lot of fun for a lot of different ages and gaming tastes.

Take a look at Florenza: The Card Game which Games Surplus has for $20. It only plays 2-4, though.

My current favorite a-lot-of-game-in-a-little-box is Mundus Novus.

It's the same size box as the Gryphon Library games, like For Sale, so, highly portable. But, if you're as OCPD as me about packing things small for travel you can fit the whole game (minus manual and 10 silver tokens, which you don't really need) into a standard deck box. Just be sure you really learn the rules and iconography on cards before you leave your manual at home.

But, fabulous little game!

I usually photocopy or print PDF rules so I can fold them and stuff them in the deck box as well. And for some games, like For Sale for instance, I've picked up one of those deck boxes with the compartment at the bottom for token storage.

When asking "What would Jesus do?", remember that flipping over tables and using a whip are within the realm of possibilities.

You're right, I had the European perspective here, as it's broadly available in that price category here.

Good core game with option to spend another 20.00 down the road to add an expansion that improves and extends play.
