My name is Glenn! Long have I carried Cyrus's hopes and dreams, and now I bear the Masamune as well! Henceforth, I claim them as my own! I shall slay the Fiendlord Magus and restore our honor!

I stumbled into this today on youtube and remembered playing this little gem 20 some years ago. What a great game. I'd hit this up every time I was pissed at the Oregon Trail.

Oh my word yes, I've been wanting to play this game again for quite some time now! Like you say, a great diversion for those times when you got tired of telling your friends about how they just died of dysentery

I was actually a little sad when my elementary school upgraded to a Macintosh computer lab in 4th or 5th grade, as Dino Park Tycoon and The Island of Dr. Quandry, a cheap Dr. Brain knockoff, weren't nearly as fun as Oregon Trail and Odell Lake on the old IIe machines

How about this fine fishing game on the ZX Spectrum instead. All the thrills of real life fishing...

As grey traces of dawn tinge the eastern sky, the three travellers, men of Willowdale, emerge from the forest's shadow. Fording the river, they turn south, journeying into the dark and forbidding lands of The Necromancer...

Eh. When it comes to remembering my old C-64 from 30 years ago, I have fond memories of Raid on Bungeling Bay, launching my helicopter from a carrier and bombing factories.

Absolutely. I played both Summer Games and Winter Games. I still remember finding an exploit in the figure skating event that allowed me to score 6s every time (although I can't remember the exploit).

Me and my neighbors wore out a pile of old Atari 2600 joysticks playing this game. The right-left bit for the sprinting tore them up.

Yes! I had that Summer Games on my Amstrad. Brilliant. Three events per disc if I remember correctly.
