Who's the master?
"Just get that sucka to the designated place at the designated time and I will gladly designate his ass...for dismemberment!" - Sho Nuff.
There was a question posted up about what IS a Math Trade? If you don't know, I hope this helps. This was my response:
I want one of J.L.'s game, but he wants none of mine.
You want one of my games, but I want none of yours.
J.L. wants one of your games, but you want none of his.
The Math Trade makes it all work out. It's a round robin trading format.
You put up what you are willing to trade.
You look over the list of available games and go through a check box and show which of your games you'd be willing to receive for each one you put up. That means if you put up Case Blue, you don't have to worry about receiving a small pocket game you thought looked neat. Instead, for Case Blue, you would check off each game on this list that you would be willing to trade Case Blue FOR.
When it's all filled out and announced, you'll see that you need to mail game A to this dude, Game B to that dude, etc. And you'll be receiving Game X and Y.
I do this every year at BGG Con, except the shipping is free. The problem is, there aren't a lot of wargames that get traded in that.
I'll bump this to keep it on the front page. I didn't even notice the math trade had begun until two days in and I can't imagine I'm the only person who missed it at first.
