Welcome to "THE LOYALTY DECK!"

This deck consists of 8 cards total.

6 Good Cop Cards that look like this...

And 2 Dirty Cop Cards that look like this...

All the cards share this back...

These cards have changed a lot from the 1st Edition to the 2nd.

The 1st Edition Loyalty Deck and the Player Aid Deck BOTH looked VERY similar. Let me show you a picture of what I'm talking about...

That's one side of the Player Aid card, though both sides looked like. The Loyalty Deck looked almost identical (but had some art on it, which was about the only difference).

Some have said that these two particular decks looked like someone just typed them up in WORD. It's hard to disagree with that assertion.

So, we have made drastic changes in terms of the graphic Design of these cards (both decks).

Now, let's get back to this issue of how similar the decks looked...

Both sides of BOTH of those decks looked very similar (too similar), because...

Some folks have requested that those two decks look VERY different so that players would not accidentally flip over their Loyalty Card during the game thinking it was the Player Aid!

Similarly, both sides of these decks now look very different, thus no real risk of accidentally flipping the card revealing your loyalty.

So, yes we have made adjustments to make these look VERY different.

We think so anyway, but...

I'll let you judge that for yourself when you see the Player Aid Card (which is also one of the 12 Days of Police Precinct), so stay tuned for that.

Plea for help...

These cards have been looked over thoroughly by our editors (5 groups of them in-fact), but...

Maybe YOU can find a misspelling, a typo, or some other error.

If you do...

Please let us know so we can correct it prior to printing.

and...

Thanks Group Six!!!

Suggest a wording change on the loyalty cards...

"be paranoid of" --> "be suspicious of"

Paranoid is a little over the top. While you can certainly be paranoid, I don't think I've ever heard the phase "paranoid of".

Suspicious definitely seems like what was meant here.

The back of the card should state "must spend two donuts to reveal" instead of "must have 2+ donuts"

The good cop loyalty card should also make it clear that the bad cop requirement is to spend two donuts and not just have two donuts

I can understand you saying that.

it is actually correct as written.

Having the resources is a prerequisite to revealing, but not an expense of such.

Here is how the rulebook explains it...

blankblankblankblankblankblankblankblankblankblankblankblankblankblankblank

"REVEALING YOUR (LACK OF) LOYALTY *** AN ACTION ***

If the heat gets too hot, you can flee and go underground on your own, but ONLY if you are an unrevealed Dirty Cop.

You do this by revealing your loyalty as your Action on your turn. This
is only allowed if you have enough resources to survive on-the-run (meaning that, you must possess at least 2 Donuts at the time you take this Action).

To take the Action, flip your Loyalty Card, while keeping all your
Donuts (YES, do keep ALL of your Donuts!), yet discarding all of your other possessions (Police Cards, Character Card, vehicle, Upgrade Tokens, etc.), except your Loyalty Card.

Then, immediately after revealing yourself (though do take a moment to see the expressions on everyone's faces!), you are allowed to take the turn of a Dirty Cop, which means taking one Dirty Cop Action (see Loyalty Card for details).

Thanks Evan!

I've never played with the dirty cop so many apologies for that!

I was only looking at the dirty cop loyalty card in this thread which states you must spend 2 donuts. I don't know when you have to follow that rule and spend them vs when you only have to have them so I suppose I should go read the rules on it!

Hey Evan!

actually I totally understand your confusion on topic, and we are working to improve the way this particular topic is communicated to players of the game.

Your input on this is VERY appreciated!!!

Also to let you know (and as you can likely see at this point), we are working on getting all of the 12-Days of Police Precinct fully updated.

Then...

As folks come along and check them out, they can see accurate depictions of what we are planning on printing. This has obvious advantages, so it is something we are trying to get done ASAP.

Thanks again for all your involvement in the Police Precinct threads of late!

UPDATE:
THIS THREAD IS UP-DO-DATE (up to this point)
Meaning that we here at CMG have implemented changes to our working files, and furthermore have posted up-dated images and or links in this thread based on feedback that has come about due to this thread (up to this point in time). This includes feedback that may have come to us from other sources beyond this thread.

Thanks!

Thanks!

This includes such things as the "paranoid" vs "Suspicious" change, as you can see here...

Hi, shouldn't it be 'to reveal himself/herself'? After all, on the dirty cop it says 'action to reveal yourself'.

On the backside it says 'place a street punk in a Bad Hood'. Is this correct? Shouldn't that be 'Neighborhood'?

Also, you need to donuts to reveal yourself, but on the backside it says 'Must have 2+ donuts', but that's been commented before.

Hi!

Actually Bad Hood's good-to-go. That's where the Punks tend to go when they arrive in the game.
