Welcome to "THE PLAYER AID!"

This is a card given to each player to reference during the game.

We'll now show you both sides, and then compare it to the 1st edition version.

Here's one Side...

And the other...

The 1st Edition version...

As you can see, these cards have changed a lot. Not so much in what they say, but more in the way they are done graphically.

So far as that goes, we wanted something subtle, light, consistent (but also different enough from each other), and finally somewhat helpful. Meaning the donut is on the side of the card that lists it's uses.

We also wanted this card to look consistently (both sides) and significantly different than the Loyalty Card, so that...

Players would not accidentally flip over their Loyalty Card during the game thinking it was the Player Aid!

With the 1st Edition, this was a risk worth mentioning, and an unneeded distraction to the game for many players. Basically, aside from a little bit of art and what the words actually said, the two cards looked exactly the same. This was pointed out a few times, and WE LISTENED!

We think, problem solved at this point!

But you be the Judge...

Let's look at the back (face-up) side of the Loyalty Deck...

If those two cards were sitting in front of you, would you have any difficulty at a glance telling them apart?

Let us know...

Poll
For me, when it comes to the Loyalty Card and the Player Aid, telling the two cards apart is...
No Problem!
Still a bit of a problem.
A HUGE problem, they look WAY too similar!!!

Well, I guess that's about it, except to say...

And...

Plea for help...

These components we have shown you today have been looked over thoroughly by our editors (5 groups of them in-fact), but...

Maybe YOU can find a misspelling, a typo, or some other error.

If you do...

Please let us know so we can correct it prior to printing.

and...

Thanks Group Six!!!

On the player aid, why only explicitly state 3 spaces for marked car?
Should probably state 2 spaces for unmarked car as well.
Is it commonly referred to as a "marked car"? Perhaps "squad car" would be the more common reference.

Agree with William.

Also love the new look of the player aid. Visually MUCH more compelling than 1st ed.

I don't love the use of the ()s though. Excessive use in my opinion.

I also agree on Williams point!

That change has been made.

Sorry Evan that an updated image was not yet placed here indicating such.

We have been working very hard on this end to get a new item done and presented on BGG every single day for 12 days straight.

but, now that is over, so...

We can tidy up a bit and attend to some of these other items. Updating each of the 12 days is at the top of our list.
