Welcome to "THE GANG AND POLICE DECKS!"

If you are familiar with the game Police Precinct, then these two items will look pretty familiar.

So, no big changes to either deck but here's what you will see...

COMPATIBLE: Exact same card backs (as always).

FONT: The font has changed a bit on the gang deck.

and...

ART: The Art on one of the Police Cards is new and properly corresponds with the token it relates to.

That's pretty much it.

Take a look...

POLICE DECK
http://www.commonman.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/PoliceDe...

reminder...

CARD #1 is THE BACK:
When viewing any cards in deck form, the first "card" you see is actually the image found on the BACK of ALL of the cards in that deck. Then, all the rest of the "cards" are the images found on all of the fronts of the cards (so it is not uncommon in certain decks to see some or even a lot of duplication in the fronts -- Like would be the case with an Investigation Deck with all of it's "nothing yet" style cards)

Well, I guess that's about it, except to say...

blankblankblankTHANKSblankblankblank

And a little...

Plea for help:

These components we have shown you today have been looked over by our editors, but...

Maybe YOU can find a misspelling, a typo, or some other error.

If you do...

Please let us know so we can correct it prior to printing.

and...

Thanks!!!

For the Allocate Resources & Officer Assistance police cards, there needs to be a period after the first sentence (after the word "station."). Other than that, the cards look great.

Thanks Mark!

I appreciate your feedback (always).

I never gave much thought to that card in terms of that aspect of it. I think I must have viewed it (the 1st line) as sort-of a bullet point item, thus maybe not subject to certain rules, but...

I agree, that would be a nice change. I invite anyone else to weigh in on that.

Here's a quick poll...

Poll
When it comes to the Allocate Resources card, and in particular to the very 1st line (ending with the word "Station"), I think...
YES, it should have a period at the end.
NO, it is done in "Bullet-Style" with italicized letters, etc., so no need for a period at the end.
EITHER WAY is fine!

In addition to voting, if someone feels strongly on this topic, please post your thoughts below.

Thanks!

PS - If we change one, we will change both cards.

Yes, I agree all of these should be handled consistently.

Let's watch this poll a little longer and use it as an important part of our final decision.

Ultimately we will want to:

1. Remove ALL periods.

Or better yet (in your opinion and mine)...

2. Add periods such that ALL of these style cards DO have a period at the end of the 1st line.

Thanks again Mark!!!!

Request Assistance Card
Sentences don't start with "Or"

Either:
1) get rid of the period and uncapitalize "Or"

2) put the or on it's own line like this:
Play this card to:
Move any number of police cars
one street to your location.
- OR -
Move one police car two streets
to your location.

I just uploaded a new Police Card Deck.

It has some nice (but small) changes.
