Subject: Concussive Charges vs Damage Tokens on the BCT in OP 2 rss

Concussive Charges reads:
ATTACK: (Target Lock) Spend your target lock and disable this card to perform this attack.

For every uncanceled (HIT) or (CRIT) result, the target ship loses 1 token of your choice that has been placed beside it in the play area.

You may fire this weapon from your forward or rear firing arcs.

So now my question is:
Can you remove your 'opponent's' damage tokens from the BCT?

They are tokens, but they are not placed beside the ship. And I'm fairly certain that Concussive Chargers is referring to tokens like Target Lock, Scan, etc.

Concussive Charge is only used to remove markers that are used for activated effects, not markers that are used for tracking effects that have already gone off. (Such as damage indicators for this OP, or any of the 'effect' indicator tokens that were included in newer ships to mark special effects)

I would try and remove opposing ships' Energy Dampening Tokens with the Concussive Charges instead, personally

These are the questions that I cry myself to sleep over at night.
