Hi!
Magazine Spielbox 2014/2 describes the game for more than 5 player.
Anyone knows how can I play in this variant?

Seems that the only issue for 5 (or more) players would be running out of cards. I suppose one could simply increase the deck using two sets. Might result in some pretty big plays!

We find that the game goes really fast with 5 players - after all, the draw pile starts with only 38 of the 109 cards!

I think that you would need more than one deck - and then the game would get pretty wild.

Personally, I think that the game is better with 4 than with 5. It might not really work well with more.

We played in 6 people. We invented - deal 10 cards each, 4 cards on card row. That was our first play at all. We have no comparision with the normal rules less than 6 players. The play was great. Does anyone have a similar experience?

I'm curious about this too. I printed a re-theme with Printer Studio, and had some extra slots to fill, so added another set of 1-13, and two extra wild cards. Was thinking this might get me to 6 players, but perhaps not, at least if I am sticking to 13 cards to start. I guess the only way to find out is to try it!
