Subject: Inspecting the composition of an enemy column/garrison rss

Under certain circumstances, a patrol can 'inspect' the composition of an enemy Column or Garrison. Apart from being a bit unrealistic (you can imagine the enemy troops filing past a scout with a clipboard), isn't it somewhat cumbersome, bearing in mind that you can't just show your Column display as it has all the other Columns on it.

In lieu of a rule allowing minor exaggeration or otherwise of the true figures, wouldn't it be simpler and more realistic just to verbally reveal the number of infantry regiments, cavalry regiments, and artillery units, and the names if applicable of any Leaders?
