We're looking for playtesters for our upcoming game, Blackwater Gulch Adventures. The game is based on our original Wild West skirmish game, Blackwater Gulch, but this new game will be a different format. It's a co-op adventure game that plays kind of like a mix of dungeon crawlers like Descent and survival games like Zombicide, only instead of fantasy heroes exploring a dungeon full of goblins and survivors killing zombies, you will play a posse of lawmen hunting down outlaws in a western town.
If you are interested in helping to test the game out, please message me here and include an email address that you actively read as this is how we will contact you (We promise to not spam you!). If you just want to check the game out, we suggest waiting a couple of months for the "Print & Play Preview Pack" that will be done after this next round of testing is done. The current test pack is all plain text and basic, it's meant to just be functional. The preview pack will be based on this test pack, but it will have finished artwork and will look nice
You will need to print the game board tiles (8 pages total) and Reward & Encounter Cards which are formatted to fit on 12 printable business card sheets, if you don't want to use plain paper. Plus 5 pages worth of character reference cards if you wish, and the rules themselves are around 25 pages, though the 2nd half the the book is mostly reference info.
You will also need your own miniatures to use for now. The final game will actually not come with miniatures, we're going to go with cardstock characters similar to Pathfinder pawns to keep the price low... though we will most likely be doing optional metal miniatures for players that want those, and all of our current miniatures will also be usable in the adventure game too. So for now you will still need miniatures or whatever works best for you, to represent the different heroes and enemies in the game.
So anyway, if you're interested in helping out, please send me a message here and I'll email the files to you as soon as we get it finished up, probably in the next day or 2
